This is a classic beginner's walk. Starting in front of the main cafe entrance Countryside Centre Worcester Woods Country Park, our route takes us north through pasture and green lanes to emerge onto the main road near Marydale. We cross the roundabout and motorway to descend into a green lane past King's Wood and onto Bredicot church via a country lane. After a stop we head south across fields into woodland at  Bredicot Rough and Pershore Lane to walk through cropped field and pasture to cross the A44 and onto the haha of Spetchley Hall gardens. Turning west for the first time across the deer park we have a chance to admire the work of 18th century stone masons at Spetchley Hall.  From there heading west we mainly cross pasture until we descend towards the M5 giving us excellent views of the Malvern Hills and on under the motorway skirting the new development of Whittington Walk returning to the countryside centre for a well deserved warming bowl of soup or cup of tea or coffee via the remaining pasture.
