A bus walk along Shakespeare's Avon Valley Way between Evesham and Pershore to celebrate 'The Bard's' birth on 23 April 1564 and death on 23 April 1616. "Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more." Macbeth. The walk is fairly flat and with few stiles.
We'll be using the X50 bus from Worcester bus station (9.10) via Pershore Broad Street -where the Abbey tea Rooms used to be - (9.40) to Evesham - alight at Hampton Church (9.50) GR SSP 028 431. There are therefore various options in terms of getting to the start and back from the finish.
For those driving to Pershore to catch the bus to Evesham my suggestion is to park at Pershore Bridges free car park and walk to catch the bus opposite the entrance to Pershore College.
