Bredon Hill From Beckford

Walk Details


  • Start: Saturday 10 Apr 2021 @ 10:00 Please allow sufficient preparation time so we can depart promptly.
  • Distance: 19.5 km (12 miles).
  • Route Type: Loop, this is a circular route where the walker ends at the start point without retracing any of the route.
  • Grade: Moderate
  • Some Stiles.
  • Snacks: Bring a packed lunch and a drink..
  • £1 per car donation to Beckford Village Hall for parking (bring cash).
  • No dogs please (registered assistance dogs by prior arrangement with the walk leader).
  • Everyone under 18 participating in Ramblers walks and other activities must be accompanied by a responsible adult, such as a parent, guardian, teacher or youth worker.
  • Due to Covid 19 places for this walk must be pre-booked in advance with the walk leader, giving your Ramblers membership number and contact phone number.
  • If you are allocated a place and are unable to attend, please let the walk leader know so that someone else can take your place.
  • Please do not car share unless with members of your household or Bubble and do not attend if you or members of your household display Covid 19 symptoms.

A moderate grade walk along part of the Wychavon Way, taking in the summit of Bredon Hill and two Cotswold churches. Terrain level or undulating; long ascent of and descent from Bredon Hill. Bring suitable clothing and footwear.

To reserve a place, contact the walk leader, giving your Ramblers membership number and a contact phone number. 

The number of walkers will be limited to 16; including the leader. Places on this walk must be pre-booked in advance, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Personal data will be used for walk management and statistical purposes. Contact details will be retained for 21 days in order to support NHS contact tracing if necessary. Consider installing the NHS covid-19 contact tracing app on your mobile phone. Please bring a facemask/face covering, alcohol hand gel and a first aid kit for personal use. Please do not share food drink or equipment. If you have covid-19, or symptoms suggestive of covid-19, do not come on the walk. Likewise, if any person with whom you have been in close contact within the last 14 days has covid-19, or symptoms suggestive of covid-19, do not come on the walk. When travelling to and from the walk venue do not share a car, except with members of your own household /support bubble. After the walk if you develop covid-19 or symptoms suggestive of covid-19, seek advice from the NHS and contact the walk leader.
