Walk Details


  • Start: Saturday 29 May 2021 @ 10:00 Please allow sufficient preparation time so we can depart promptly.
  • Distance: 18.5 km (11.5 miles).
  • Route Type: Loop, this is a circular route where the walker ends at the start point without retracing any of the route.
  • Grade: Moderate
  • Some Stiles.
  • Snacks: Bring a packed lunch and a drink..
  • No dogs please (registered assistance dogs by prior arrangement with the walk leader).
  • Everyone under 18 participating in Ramblers walks and other activities must be accompanied by a responsible adult, such as a parent, guardian, teacher or youth worker.
  • Due to Covid 19 places for this walk must be pre-booked in advance with the walk leader, giving your Ramblers membership number and contact phone number.
  • If you are allocated a place and are unable to attend, please let the walk leader know so that someone else can take your place.
  • Please do not attend if you or members of your household display Covid 19 symptoms.

Moderate grade Cotswold walk taking in the villages of Snowshill, Stanton and Buckland together with their respective churches. Terrrain level or undulating; some steeper sections. Muddy in places. Bring suitable clothing and footwear. Good views weather permitting.

To reserve a place, contact the walk leader, giving your name, Ramblers membership number and a contact phone number.

The number of walkers will be limited to 16; including the leader. Places on this walk must be pre-booked in advance, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Personal data will be used for walk management and statistical purposes. Contact details will be retained for 21 days in order to support NHS contact tracing if necessary. Consider installing the NHS covid-19 contact tracing app on your mobile phone. Please bring a facemask/face covering, alcohol hand gel and a first aid kit for personal use. Please do not share food, drink or equipment. If you have covid-19, or symptoms suggestive of covid-19, do not come on the walk. Likewise, if any person with whom you have been in close contact within the last 14 days has covid-19, or symptoms suggestive of covid-19, do not come on the walk. Car sharing is now permitted provided government guidelines are followed. After the walk if you develop covid-19 or symptoms suggestive of covid-19, seek advice from the NHS and contact the walk leader.
