Croome Walk (Cancelled)

• Start: Saturday 16 Apr 2022 @ 10:00 Please allow sufficient preparation time so we can depart promptly.
• Distance: 17.5 km (11 miles).
• Route Type: Loop, this is a circular route where the walker ends at the start point without retracing any of the route.
• Grade: Moderate
• Some Stiles.
• Snacks: Bring a packed lunch and a drink..
• Meet at free public car park at end of Bestmans Lane on edge of Kempsey Common. Do not attend if you or anybody in your household has symptoms of covid-19. Do not share food drink or equipment outside your own household. Bring a facemask/face covering, alcohol hand gel and first aid kit for personal use. After the walk, if you develop covid-19 symptoms, follow government guidance and inform the walk leader.
• No dogs please (registered assistance dogs by prior arrangement with the walk leader).
• Everyone under 18 participating in Ramblers walks and other activities must be accompanied by a responsible adult, such as a parent, guardian, teacher or youth worker.

Moderate grade walk through Croome Park, visiting Pirton and Panorama towers. Good views if weather fine. Terrain varied. Fairly level with some slopes. Expect mud after rain. Wear suitable clothing and footwear. After the walk , check for ticks and remove any ticks promptly. National Trust membership card/admission fee not required.
