The second of John's walks, this time starting from Knighton. The initial first half mile is steepest climb of the walk. Leaving Offa's Dyke Path, down to Whitton, walk alongside the River Lugg to Pilleth ( site of The Battle of Bryn Glas - Owain Glyndwr's first major victory over the English). Then around Black Hill and back to Knighton.
Parking at Offa's Dyke Centre or by the cattle market (fee payable, all day £4). Meet at Offa's Dyke Centre @10am.
