Walk Details
Bus/Train walk to commemorate the Battle of Worcester 3 September 1651 and the escape of King Charles II. Meet up outside the Guildhall, Worcester. We'll then pop around to the King Charles statue and pub and on to the Commandery before following the Monarch's Way all the way to Droitwich most of which is on the Worcester & Birmingham and Droitwich Canals. Return to Worcester by bus or train. Option to join the Battle of Worcester's "'Drumhead Service" at Fort Royal (5 for 5.30pm) to commemorate those who died in the Battle and then to sample the beers and/or food at King Charles House pub.
